Every documentary I've ever seen has one fatal flaw: it's propaganda. It's a common trope to present the viewer with facts and supporting evidence that guides them to a predetermined conclusion. But I want to be able to make my own conclusions. And I don't want to have to make that conclusion based on the facts presented--I want the freedom to come up with my own premises, too.
The truest thing in the world is staying true to yourself. Some things that happen can contradict your inner truth, and I wanted to make sure my audience wouldn't have to confront any scary discrepancies with that. I am a deeply kind and empathetic person who cares about the comfort of other people and who understands that not everyone has the same associations with reality.
This documentary allows to insert whatever truth speaks most saliently to you. You can use the words within it to support whatever worldview or agenda you might have. You can make associations with elements of the documentary and find ways to connect it all together in any way you see fit.
This documentary is the first in the history of mankind that speaks to rawest truth--that there is not one truth. There is only your truth.
